CODING PROJECTS - BEGINNER
Saturday | 3:00PM - 4:00PM AEST
24 July - 28 Aug

Ages: 6-11 years old

Prerequisites: None

Requirements: Internet | Browser | Laptop 

6 weeks

Max capacity: 10 students

Fun and engaging coding projects using block coding (Scratch). The main goal of the beginner classes is to understand the fundamentals of coding. Students create simple video games and develop cool animations. Students are encouraged to work in groups and independently. A certificate of completion is achieved at the end of each level. Students will get lifetime access to all our learning material. 

Requirements: You will need a computer/laptop with a good Internet connection. Upon registration, you will receive information on how to prepare your, child, for the session. Virtual classrooms will be held via the Zoom platform.

CODING PROJECTS - INTERMEDIATE
Saturday | 4:30PM - 5:30PM AEST
24 July - 28 Aug

Ages: 8-11 years old

Prerequisites: Prior experience in block coding

Requirements: Internet | Browser | Laptop 

6 weeks

Max capacity: 10 students

This course is for students who have had prior experience with block coding platforms. The classes are fun and interactive and the main goal of the intermediate classes is to extend the students knowledge in concepts such as algorithms, list coding, loops and functions. The Intermediate online coding course will help students become more confident in creating more complex projects independently. This course will help students prepare for the next level, text-based coding (Python & Java script) and using microcontrollers (Microbit & Arduino) for fun projects.A certificate of completion is achieved at the end of each level. Students will get lifetime access to all our learning material.

ROBOTICS & CODING PROJECTS (PYTHON/JAVA)
Monday | 6:30PM - 7:30PM AEST
26 July - 30 Aug

Ages: 10+ years old

Prerequisites: Prior experience in block or text coding

Requirements: Internet | Browser | Laptop | Arduino starter kit

6 weeks

Max capacity: 10 students

This course is for students who have had prior experience with block coding or text coding and those who love to tinker and build practical and fun projects. The classes are fun and interactive,  the main goal of these classes are for students learn text based coding Python/Java script for practical applications. We look at the engineering deisgn process and brainstorm ideas for a build project. Using popular microcontollers (Mircobits/Arduino) we design and build 3-4 fun projects.

Requirements: You will need a computer/laptop with a good Internet connection. Arduino starter kits can be bought from popular retailers (Links below to some online retailers) Upon registration, you will receive information on how to prepare your, child, for the session. Virtual classrooms will be held via the Zoom platform.
