Our popular Youth Technology Camps are a 2-day event where students aged 8-14 learn about emerging technologies, investigate and research special STEM topics, participate in engineering design challenges, and more. Students have to use their critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills to participate in various fun

and interactive activities.

Day 1 - Microsoft Hacking STEM Projects-(Arduino) - 

1. Increasing power through design: Students build a windmill and a wind turbine and measure their capacity to lift a weight. Then they engage in a blade design challenge to achieve maximum power output. The results are visualised and analysed in Excel.
2. Harnessing electricity to communicate: students will construct a telegraph using household materials to learn about electrical energy and its importance in communication. They will use a specialised workbook to practice sending and receiving messages in Morse code using their homemade telegraph. This hands-on project will help students understand the principles of electricity and how it has been used to transmit information over long distances.

Day 2 - Coding Projects

• Game Lab
• AI Lab Project:  AI Lab is a hands-on introduction to developing machine learning models with tabular data. You will learn how computers learn from data to make decisions and develop machine-learning applications based on real-world data. At the end of this unit, you will design a machine-learning application to address a personal issue.
