About The Event
Our popular Youth Technology Camp is a 2-day event where students aged 8-14 learn about emerging technologies, investigate and research special STEM topics, participate in engineering design challenges, and more. Students have to use their critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills to participate in various fun
and interactive activities.
Day 1: Machines in Motion
Get ready to dive into the world of machines and motion! On this action-packed day, campers will explore the mechanics behind everyday machines, from simple levers to complex roller coasters. Through hands-on activities and exciting engineering challenges, kids will discover the science of motion and experiment with designing their machines in a fun, interactive environment.
Learning Outcomes:
Understand and identify simple machines (lever, pulley, wheel, inclined plane) and their uses.
