3 x 1-hour sessions each week. 

**The course is designed and delivered by an experienced Bioprocess Scientist with a background in Biomedical Science

Workshop content:

Workshop 1: The Skeletal and Muscular Systems Introduction: We explore the main functions of the skeletal and muscular systems, such as providing support, protection, movement, and storage. Learn about different types of bones and muscles in the body.

• The human body - interactive learning
• Construct a model to see how bones and muscles work together to allow your hand to move.
• Play some fun interactive games. 

Workshop 2: The Digestive and Urinary Systems Introduction: Explore the main functions of the digestive and urinary systems, such as breaking down food, absorbing nutrients, eliminating waste, and maintaining fluid balance. We learn about different organs and structures in these systems.

Workshop 3: The Circulatory and Respiratory Systems Introduction: Explore the main functions of the circulatory and respiratory systems, such as transporting oxygen, carbon dioxide, nutrients, hormones, etc., exchanging gases between blood and air, regulating blood pressure and pH, etc. 

• Interactive exploration of the circulator and respiratory systems
